Ramalama AI is an independent fan-made tool, not an official product or service. Privacy and data requests can be sent to support@ramalamaai.org. This address is the public support contact for Ramalama AI.

Portraits and previews

When signed in, choosing a photo in the Solo or Squad form sends it to OpenAI's image moderation service for a safety check, before it is saved to the application's storage. Only approved images are uploaded. Before sign-in, photos remain in a local draft; signing in resumes their safety checks and uploads. Choosing a photo does not start video generation or deduct generation credits. The external video-generation provider receives the approved photos only when you explicitly submit a generation request. Solo uses one portrait; Squad uses three, all of which must pass. If moderation is unavailable or rejects a photo, the upload is declined. We store the approval marker, not detailed moderation scores. Only select photos you have permission to use.

The current browser saves separate Solo and Squad drafts, including selected photos and settings, for up to 24 hours since the last save so they can be restored after a refresh. Drafts are separated by account, and another user's drafts are cleared on account changes. If browser storage is unavailable, drafts may not survive a refresh. The local draft expiry does not delete files already uploaded to storage.

Account information

Account information, authentication records, credit transactions and video task history are stored by the application's configured database service. Session cookies support sign-in; locale and appearance settings may also be saved in your browser.

Videos, external providers and payment

When enabled, a video job may use a third-party AI provider and media storage to process the portraits and deliver a downloadable result. Check the generator's availability before submitting. If checkout is enabled, a selected third-party payment provider processes the transaction; payment details are handled through that provider's checkout. Reference videos on this site come from attributed third-party creators and are not Ramalama AI results.

Retention and requests

Uploaded files and completed videos may remain in the configured storage or AI provider systems. Direct media storage URLs may be accessible to people who have the URL; account sign-in alone does not guarantee that every storage object is private. The 24-hour window for using a previously uploaded photo in a job is not a guarantee that the stored photo is automatically deleted.

No fixed automatic deletion deadline has been established. For access or deletion requests, email support@ramalamaai.org (preferably from your account address) with the relevant job ID(s). We may verify ownership and review which records or files under our control can be deleted, while accounting for payment records, security and legal retention requirements. External AI providers and payment processors may retain information according to their own policies. See Contact for request details.
